Renovations & additions in Raglan.

Whether you're modernising a kitchen, recladding a character home, or adding a second storey — we work on existing homes with the same care as new builds.

Our approach

Working with what's already there.

Renovating an existing home means respecting the bones of what's there — and being honest about what needs to change. Some homes need a sensitive restoration; others need a structural rethink. We help you figure out which one yours needs.

Holiday homes, character properties, family homes that have outgrown themselves — Raglan has all of them. We've worked on enough of each to know what to look out for.

01 / RENOVATIONS

Updating the spaces you live in.

Most renovations we do in Raglan are kitchens and bathrooms — alongside recladding, reroofing, and replacing tired joinery with thermally broken units that suit the local climate. Renovations improve how a home feels and functions without changing its footprint.

  • Recladding & reroofing
  • Joinery & insulation upgrades

02 / ADDITIONS & EXTENSIONS

More space, done properly.

Second storeys, ground-floor extensions, sleepouts. An addition needs to feel like part of the original home — same lines, same materials, same level of finish — not bolted-on.

LICENSED BUILDING PRACTITIONER

Structural alterations and additions are Restricted Building Work under the NZ Building Act. All work is carried out or supervised by an LBP.

03 / HOLIDAY HOME WORK

Looking after the bach.

Raglan has a lot of holiday homes that need work between visits. We're locally based and can manage projects start-to-finish while you're back in Auckland or Hamilton — photos, updates, the lot.
