Double Garage Addition, Sunshine Rise

Sunshine Rise, Raglan — Completed July 2025

The project

Belinda wanted a double garage added to her house at Sunshine Rise. The brief was specific: it had to look like part of the original home, not an obvious add-on tacked on the side. Same cladding, same roof pitch, same proportions — built so well-matched that you’d never guess it wasn’t there from the start.

This was the first build Eli has led for us. He’s been with us as an apprentice and was ready to take on a project at this scope — the kind of job where attention to detail decides whether the addition reads as integrated or bolted on.

The build ran two to three months and finished mid-2025. Looking at the finished garage next to the original house, the addition reads as one continuous structure. That’s the win on a job like this — when the seam disappears.
